Frankfurt International Airport Parking

If you're only dropping off at the terminals, you can park for free for up to 10 minutes right outside Terminal 1 and 2.

For longer parking, even if you're only briefly picking up or dropping off, you will need to go into parking facilities. For Terminal 1 these are P35 and P39. For Terminal 2 these are P17, P18 and P19.

Frankfurt Airport short-term parking in these parking facilities costs 2.50 euros for the first 15 minutes, 5.00 euros for 30 minutes, 7.50 euros for 45 minutes and 15.00 euros for a full hour. Every hour after that, or part thereof, will cost 15.00 euros.

Long-term Terminal Parking at Frankfurt Airport

Parking for a full 7-day week starts at 66.00 euros. If you're only staying away for a weekend, you can avail yourself of the airport's weekend saver rate. Two days parking at the terminals costs from 39.00 euros at weekends.

Holiday parking at Frankfurt Airport is very reasonably priced. A full 7-day week costs from 29.00 euros.

Passengers who are staying overnight in an airport hotel within the Frankfurt Airport complex should take a look at the airport's 'Park, Sleep & Fly' rates, which start at 137.50 euros per night for the whole package.

Business Parking at Frankfurt am Main Airport

Business parking at Frankfurt Airport is only available through online booking, if you want to take advantage of better rates. Business parking is handled in P4 at Terminal 1, and prices start from 39.00 euros per day per vehicle.

General Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 Parking at Frankfurt Airport

In total, the airport boasts some 15,000 car parking spaces, divided into several multistorey car parking facilities and underground parking areas. These facilities include special parking spaces for female drivers, disabled drivers, holiday makers, short-term visitors, motor cycles and extra large vehicles.

The great thing about parking at Frankfurt Airport is that is can be booked up to 9 months in advance. If you're planning to park your vehicle for 7 days or more it is advisable to book at least a week prior to your arrival. Short-term parking at Frankfurt Airport should be booked at least a full day in advance. Parking space can be reserved online and paid for via by Visa or MasterCard.

Getting to Frankfurt Airport's Terminal Parking

In order to reach the parking facilities for Terminal 1 follow motorways (Autobahn) A3 or A5 and watch for signs directing you to Terminal 1. Do the same from Federal highway B43. This terminal has five entrances to the parking area (P1 – P5).

If your destination is Terminal 2, the parking is again easily accessed via motorways A3, A5 and the Federal highway B43. Parking area 8 is the underground parking garage, or make use of area 9 from Terminal Section E. All parking areas provide direct access to the Terminals.

Parking fees should be paid at the pay machines, in cash, by credit card or by EC card. Parking staff will offer assistance, if you are unfamiliar with the parking machines or encounter problems. Machines are located at the main exits of the over-ground and underground garages of both the terminals.

Holiday parking facilities are available on the south side of the airport. It is the most cost-effective parking at Frankfurt Airport with only 29.00 euros charged per week.
